What to wear?

Generally, sticking to solid colors is your best bet, though patterns, in small doses, will also work. Distracting large patterns and logos are best kept to a minimum so that your faces are the main focus. You are more than welcome and, in fact, encouraged to bring a change of clothes. Rule of thumb - wear what makes you comfortable!

For headshots, the same suggestions as above apply. If you would like two different looks, one for business and the other for social media, please feel free to bring a change of clothes so that we can get just the look you want to convey.

How long should I expect to be in my photo session?

Depending on what kind of photos you would like to capture and how many people are involved, your photo session should last from 1/2 hour on the short end, usually headshots, to 2 hours for a family session. If little ones are involved, we'll definitely try to make it a lot quicker!

When will my photos be ready?

The turnaround time on your edited photo album is approximately two weeks. You will receive your in an online-photo album that can be viewed, shared and downloaded.

How do I book your photography services?

Booking is easy! Pick your day and time and submit a $100 deposit to hold your spot for your family session and a $50 deposit for headshots. If you need to reschedule that’s no problem at all. You can go into the system and pick a new date. Click here to pick your time.

What is lifestyle photography? Is this offered for families?

Lifestyle photography is a style of photography that less “posed” and more aimed to capture everyday moments in a natural and beautiful way. The primary goal is to tell stories about people's lives. In all my photos, my goal is to capture the connection between families along with the authentic spirit of each individual.

I do most lifestyle sessions outdoors, using available natural light. The setting can be at your home or favorite location, and if you need ideas, we can definitely recommend a few great spots. I always like to suggest wearing something that’s already in your closet that you feel comfortable in already. If you’re doing a family photo shoot, it’s nice to coordinate (not match!) but that’s up to you. For the little ones, tutus, tiaras, saber swords, stuffed animals or any of their favorite treasures are always welcomed. Oh, and real pets always make for memorable photos so don’t hesitate to bring your favorite furry friend along with you.
